As quick as the 2017 show was over, the Pharmacy Show 2018 is just around the corner. As ever, Pharmacy Medical will be there exhibiting their market leading range of Controlled Drugs Cabinets, Medicine Cabinets and MDS Drugs Trolleys. This year Pharmacy Medical will also be exhibiting several new products designed to improve and compliment their current market leading catalogue.

The Show:
The Pharmacy Show will be held this coming weekend (Sunday / Monday – 7th-8th October) at the NEC Birmingham. Billed as the Ultimate Event for pharmacy owners, the Pharmacy Show attracts thousands of Independent pharmacists and Corporate chains. Set over the Sunday and Monday, it is a fantastic opportunity for us as a company to show the world of pharmacy what we can do, and how we can do it, now better than ever before. Set over two halls, 18 and 19, the show is the UK’s largest CPD-accredited event for UK community pharmacy.
For this years show, Pharmacy Medical will be once again exhibiting their renowned range of cabinets and trolleys.
Set up for the show takes place on the Saturday before. On that afternoon all exhibitors descend on the NEC to convert the two halls from an empty space, into the show that visitors will see on over the following two days. If you didn’t see it, you’d struggle to believe how quickly these shows are set up. Full stands, carpets laid, lighting, sound systems and more besides are set up in the best part of a day. For us at Pharmacy Medical, setting up shows is now a well oiled process. As manufacturers, we have designed our show stands to be easy to transport into and out of the show, whilst making them attractive for all our visitors. For us, setting up our stand will take around an hour. Including the commute to and from the NEC, set up takes around 5 hours, so not too bad.
The shows are long days but the time flies by and before we know it, it’s time to break down and go home. Monday evening at 5pm as soon as the show is over, all stands start to dismantle. This is an even bigger surprise. The stands that took hours to assemble, take no time at all to break down. By early evening all stands are gone and the hall is back to normal.
