Manufacturing in Great Britain
Here at Pharmacy Medical we don’t shy away from the fact that we manufacture all of our own products at our own facility. Based just off junction 28 of the M1, our purpose built facility has grown with us over the years and is now a self contained manufacturing facility. From first cut of the flat steel, through to painting and assembly, we do it all in Britain.
We even source the vast majority of our goods from UK sources. Below is a list of where some of our raw materials and components for a controlled drugs cabinet comes from:
- Sheet steel – UK Supplier
- Lock casing – UK manufacturer
- Promotional parts (stickers and labels) – UK manufacturer
Not only does this allow us to improve our supply chain by reducing lead times, it is helping us overcome any negative effects, import costs etc, that may or may not come as a result of the Brexit negotiations.
