Our CDC102 Controlled drugs cabinet is one of he very first CD cabinets we produced. We designed it with the help of the National Pharmacy association who we’ve worked with for many years and are grateful of their assistance.
The CDC102 Controlled drugs cabinet is a versatile CD cabinet with a high density of shelves per area allowing good use of internal space. It is designed for smaller packets and bottles where the storage of Controlled drugs is both varied in type but small in quantity. This cabinet is popular with Care homes, schools, vets and Doctors surgeries. It has four fixed door shelves and five internal shelves. Two of the internal shelves are removable allowing storage of a single large bottle of Methadone.
Our CDC102 Controlled drugs cabinet is manufactured as all our range of Controlled drugs cabinets from 2mm steel. This is thicker than most of our competitors and gives an even greater level of security. This together with our new euro profile cylinder lock means you can be safe in the knowledge that our cabinets are the best on the market. The CDC102 Controlled drugs cabinet also includes four, 3mm thick anchor plates at the fixing points, it has a fully welded construction with anti-jimmy folded return down the full length of hinge side of door. 2mm thick mild steel continuous hinge with 25mm joints and 4.5mm diameter hinge pin supports the door when opening. The hinge pin is welded to the hinge to prevent the removal of the door if the hinge is forced. In the unlikly event that the hinge is forced then the anti-Jimmy return on the door would prevent it’s removal.
We have a 360 deg YouTube video which will give you a good all round view of our CDC102 Controlled drugs cabinet.
The new euro profile cylinder lock is a recent addition to our cabinet specification and it has been gradually phased in to our products over the past twelve months. This style offers greater security and flexibility allowing the CLIQ lock system to be included if required. The Euro profile has replaced the seven lever mortice lock that has been used on our Controlled drugs cabinets for many years but has become outdated.
