It also features four fixed door shelves for smaller packets. The CDC103 Controlled drugs cabinet is 865mmH x 760mmW x 305mmD with one large full width and height door for easy access to the Controlled drugs within. As with all our Controlled drugs cabinets this CDC103 Controlled drugs cabinet can be fitted with a warning light or volt-less contact which triggers when the door is opened. The volt-less contact switch enables the Controlled drugs cabinet to be wired in to an internal alarm system if required.
The cabinet conforms to British standard 2881:1989 ( level one ) and to the Misuse of drugs ( safe custody ) regulation 1995. These are the requirements within the united kingdom for the storage of Controlled drugs in healthcare premises.
The CDC103 Controlled drugs cabinet is constructed from 2mm steel and features two 6 Pin Euro-profile cylinder locks incorporating Anti-pick, anti-drill, anti-bump and fire resistant features. 3mm anchor plates are welded in place over each of the fixing holes as is required by the Misuse of drugs ( safe custody ) regulation 1995. Also a full length anti-Jimmy return is folded on the hinge side of the door. This prevents the door being removed if the hinge is forcibly broken. The cabinet comes complete with all fixings and instructions to enable it to be fitted to a wall. The CDC103 Controlled drugs cabinet has a net weight of 40kg and a capacity of 201 litres.
